Rachel is a poised and articulate CFO, able to scale finance and accounting teams to meet the strategic and operational needs of emerging growth companies. A strategic thinker with a sharp and agile approach to building shareholder value, she works at all levels of a company, from capital raises, FP&A, and M&A at the executive level to supervising consulting teams that address finance and accounting needs that go beyond the traditional close. Rachel has held CFO positions in B-to-B SaaS, E-Commerce, B-to-B and B-to-C Marketplace, Advertising/Media, MedTech, and BioTech/pharmaceutical.​

Since joining Kranz in 2018, Rachel and her team have supported emerging growth companies, including The Yes (AI powered shopping platform), Makersights  (SaaS-based product decision platform), Noyo (SaaS Health insurance platform),  Intellimize (SaaS Machine learning platform), Vendr (SaaS software procurement platform), Journey Colab (biotech), Cloudcath (MedTech) and Classwork (SaaS learning platform.) Beyond full GL Accounting Management, Rachel works in a CFO Advisory capacity with entrepreneurs on strategic finance, product pricing, metrics and dashboards, fundraising, 409A, FP&A, M&A, and international roll-ups.​

Before joining Kranz, Rachel held CFO and consulting CFO positions in venture-funded and privately finance companies including Endpoint Clinical (SaaS IRT), Dwell Media (Media, Advertising), Gehry Technologies (SaaS BIM), Equilibrium (Software), Zipline (Payment systems), Biome.io (Med Tech/Data) Santa Cruz Networks (Software) Careguide.com (internet Media), and Kivera (GPS acquired by TCS.)​

Rachel is a Stanford MBA and has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Math and Economics. She began her career in strategic planning, including four years with a strategic management consulting firm (acquired by CapGemini) and 2.5 years as Business Development lead at LucasFilm Ltd. Outside of work, Rachel is an avid hiker, scaling mountain tops from the Himalayas to the Swiss Alps. Rachel lives in Marin County, CA and loves taking work breaks and weekend time hiking trails just outside her front door, in Mount Tamalpais State Park.​
