Daryl Dobrenz


Daryl is the CEO of Kranz Consulting, where he provides strategic direction and leadership to a team of 300+ experienced accounting and finance professionals. With over 30 years of experience in finance and M&A leadership at various Silicon Valley and New York technology and consulting firms, Daryl brings a unique perspective to Kranz clients in all stages of growth and business cycles, from entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies to medium and large private and public companies. 

Prior to joining Kranz, Daryl served as the Managing Director and Head of the New York office at Connor Group, where he led business development efforts across all service lines for the East Coast and Europe. He also led a variety of M&A, IPO, and financial operations consulting projects for clients in Silicon Valley during his 5+ years at the firm. 

Daryl specializes in Business Development, Financial Operations, M&A, Acquisition Integration, and Corporate Controllership areas. He has over 20 years of senior management experience in world-class, global, high technology organizations, including large technology companies in Silicon Valley such as Oracle, SUN Microsystems, and Applied Materials. 

Daryl received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from San Jose State University. As a proven leader, Daryl is committed to providing Kranz clients with the highest quality service and expertise to help them achieve their business goals. 

In his spare time, Daryl enjoys hiking in the beautiful California mountains, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and daughters exploring Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. He also enjoys staying connected to past colleagues, clients and friends in Silicon Valley and New York, learning about new developments in the financial services industry.
