We are excited to announce the promotion of Dan Marotto to Practice Leader for Emerging Growth.

Dan is a seasoned senior executive with a proven track record of building high-performing businesses across a range of industries, from early-stage startups to publicly traded entities. With his brief yet impactful tenure as a CFO at Kranz, Dan has gained unparalleled experience in driving financial strategy, optimizing operations, and guiding businesses through complex growth phases.  

In his new role, Dan plans to leverage this experience to lead our Emerging Growth Practice, providing strategic guidance to startups and growth-stage companies, delivering innovative financial solutions, and empowering both clients and teams to thrive in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Prior to joining Kranz, Dan held leadership roles as a CFO, EVP, and CEO in private equity-backed professional services firms and publicly traded technology companies. He also serves as a trusted advisor to CEOs and Boards of Directors, providing thoughtful guidance on business growth and financial strategy. 

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Dan holds a degree in managerial economics from UC Davis, studied market dynamics at Cambridge University, and began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he earned his CPA. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and coaching a local high school mountain bike team.
