Leena has over 30 years of financial accounting, supervisory and management work experience in the venture capital, private equity and healthcare industries.
Before joining Kranz, Leena spent 22 years at Domain Associates, a venture capital firm focused in the life sciences sector. For the past 11 years, she held the title of Senior Accounting Manager at Domain Associates and prior to that, she was the Assistant Controller. She was responsible for the management of day-to-day private equity fund accounting operations for seven private equity funds and their general partners.
Prior to that, Leena also held Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant roles at Nextran, an affiliate of Baxter Healthcare and DNX Corporation, a former Domain portfolio company, where she was responsible for day-to day accounting operations.
Leena began her career as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where she conducted concurrent audit engagements for various clients in the banking, mortgage banking and manufacturing industries.
Leena graduated from Rutgers University, School of Business in Newark with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Leena is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey.
Leena lives in Princeton, NJ with her husband and enjoys spending time with their two daughters, traveling, reading and doing Zumba. She is an avid fan of the NY Giants and Yankees – however, as a result of growing up in Chicago, she also roots for the Bears and the White Sox.
