How has your background impacted your experience as a consultant?
I bring a unique blend of experience from both traditional financial services consulting and software sales development. These two distinct roles have given me complementary perspectives on business operations and client engagement. At Kranz Consulting, I leverage this dual background to better support internal teams and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions to our clients.
What’s a typical workday like for you?
My day-to-day at Kranz Consulting is highly dynamic. I spend time strategizing new business opportunities, collaborating with practice leads on sales proposals, and engaging directly with founders and investors. I also represent Kranz at industry events, building relationships and expanding our network. This variety keeps me sharp and ensures I’m aligned with both our internal goals and our clients’ evolving needs.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day?
I’m motivated by being a strong team player. There’s real fulfillment in achieving goals collectively and watching the seeds of collaboration and hard work grow into meaningful success. Whether supporting colleagues or working with clients, I aim to contribute in ways that elevate everyone around me.
What kind of work have you been doing?
Our focus is always on identifying and closing new business for our consulting teams by clearly communicating the value our talented colleagues bring to the table. We’re also committed to being strong network partners within the venture ecosystem—building trust, sharing insights, and driving growth together.
Where do you believe you deliver the most value to your client?
Our clients include our own internal consulting teams, where we add value by elevating their brand presence and driving new business opportunities. For the broader venture ecosystem—startups, VCs, and founders—we deliver value as a connector, fostering meaningful relationships and facilitating strategic introductions.
How do you organize environments with a lack of reporting infrastructure or inefficiency?
In ambiguous environments, the best move is to take action. Perfection rarely comes on the first try, but through consistent iteration and honest analysis, we uncover where to improve and evolve. Progress is built on momentum, not hesitation.
What’s your process like?
Start by clearly identifying the problem and defining the desired end state. Then execute with a solutions-oriented mindset—leveraging people, technology, and intuition to drive results.
