What is your hometown? Chattanooga, TN

What is your alma mater? University of Tennessee at Chattanooga

What are your favorite things to do outside of the office? Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, reading, and baking.

How has your background impacted your experience as a consultant? I started my career by working for a local entrepreneur. He owned a variety of businesses and was always coming up with ideas for new ones. This experience taught me how to manage priorities, juggle multiple projects at once, and work with startups.

What’s a typical workday like for you? I would say there is no such thing as a “typical” workday in consulting and that is what I love about it. There is always something new to learn or a project to be a part of!

What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day? I believe my work is valuable and meaningful. I want my clients and team to know that they can depend on me.

What kind of work have you been doing? My focus recently has been on end of year tasks, including filing 1099s, helping to prepare tax prep work, and end of year projects.

Where do you believe you deliver the most value to your client? I believe my clients have peace of mind and trust in my work. When they ask me to do something, they know it will be completed in a timely manner.

How do you organize environments with a lack of reporting infrastructure or inefficiency? I enjoy structure, workflows, checklists, basically all forms of organization! When working with a client that is lacking, I find a project checklist valuable as we work to set up structure and processes.

What’s your process like? I like to start by understanding the client’s current process, so I can see what is working for the client and what isn’t. I communicate with the client to prioritize what changes need to be made and how to best accomplish them.
