1994 – The Beginning
Kranz Consulting was founded to offer financial consulting, strategic advisory, and interim services to start-ups backed by venture capital firms.
The firm’s first clients were Mayfield Fund portfolio companies and other high-growth businesses referred by top VC firms in Silicon Valley.
2000 – Launch of the Venture Fund Administration Practice
To better serve the needs of venture funds, Kranz Consulting launched its venture fund administration practice in 2000.
The practice provided customized back-office support for funds without in-house teams, offering accounting and administrative services to help these funds operate smoothly.
2014 – Expansion through Acquisition by DLC Group
In 2014, Kranz Consulting was acquired by the DLC Group. This acquisition marked a period of expansion as the company diversified its offerings to include NetSuite Services, Technical Accounting, and Transaction Services.
2019 – Joining Addison Group: Expanding Expertise and National Reach
Kranz Consulting became part of the Addison Group, a leading consulting and talent solutions company in the U.S. Addison Group’s national reach, in 2019.
Combined with Kranz’s financial expertise, this partnership enabled the company to offer a broader range of services across sectors like information technology, finance, non-clinical healthcare, and digital marketing.
