Pete joined Kranz & Associates in October 2014 as an Accounting Manager in our Emerging Growth Practice in California. Pete brings with him nearly 24 years of accounting and finance experience in various roles with both public and private companies. He has been promoted twice over his time with Kranz and is now an Assistant Controller.
Pete started his career with Ernst & Young Audit as a Staff Accountant in Palo Alto in 1999. He supported a variety of technology companies during the dot com bubble as it inflated and then burst.
Pete has a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University. He is an active CPA in California. Before joining the world of accounting finance while working towards completing his degree and certification, Pete also spent ten years in the hospitality industry honing his interpersonal skills.
In his free time, Pete enjoys the great outdoors and a variety of water and wind sports. He lives with his daughter and their beloved Miniature Pinscher, Scarlet, in Belmont California. He also enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking/baking.
