Nayaab graduated with her Master of Science in Accountancy from University of Houston in 2014 and started her career at KPMG as an external auditor. She worked with various companies, both large and small, as well as public and private, and had a large array of clientele in manufacturing, healthcare, chemical plants, oil & gas, real estate and financial services.
After three and a half years at KPMG, she joined Main Street Capital Corporation as a Senior Accountant but had to quickly grow to help fill in for the Accounting Manager and Director roles. Her work areas encompassed corporate accounting, SEC reporting, internal reporting, legal functions, treasury functions, mergers & acquisitions, and frequent deal team interaction.
In May 2021, she joined a startup financial services company, JFQ Lending, as an Accounting Manager. Her areas of focus revolved around managing month end close, financial reporting, accounts payable management, developing the team, and implementing process efficiencies. In addition, she also helped in the firm wide implementation of SAP Concur and Blackline.
