Mauricio started his career in fund administration during his last semester while completing his degree in Finance from San Diego State University. He joined Kranz in April 2026 bringing his experience in supporting private equity and hedge funds with complex multi-class Master-Feeder structures. Prior to joining Kranz, Mauricio was a Senior Fund Accountant at TMF Group providing accounting solutions to a $10B AUM asset management firm including but not limited to financial reporting, waterfall allocations, capital activity management, and performance calculations for a range of their funds.
He has worked with both evergreen and drawdown vehicles, gaining exposure to dynamic portfolios with diverse underlying investments and evolving capital structures. Known for his analytical approach and focus on process improvement, Mauricio brings a detail-oriented mindset while helping streamline reporting and enhance operational efficiency.
Driven by a long-standing interest, Mauricio is currently pursuing the CFA to broaden his own knowledge and build additional skills that both enhances his level of service and provides additional perspective. In addition to his professional pursuits, Mauricio regularly goes to the gym for its therapeutic effect and creates ambient arrangements on guitar with his musician friends for special projects.
