Diefei graduated with Accounting degree from Arizona State University. She has been working in a local public accounting firm in AZ for 4 years specialized in individual, business, non-profit tax filings and all other related local tax return filings.
Due to time spent in the tax industry, she received the Enrolled Agent title. Once she moved to the Bay Area, she worked as a corporate accountant for an international brand beverage franchisor company, which provides her with a good exposure to cost and inventory accounting. She also helped with implementing Netsuite for the business at the same time and led the system customization process for integrating procurement and logistic department.
After she joined Kranz in late 2018, she started with a few interesting and challenging tech start-ups. One of the most memorable moments she had was taking the lead in a due diligence project for an M&A deal in a short turnaround time, which turned out to be a good success at the end.
Outside of work, Diefei enjoys exploring new cities, new food, and movies and is an active amateur drummer-to-be.
