
Amanda started banking as a teller for various credit unions, worked her way through member relations, and ended in consumer lending as an underwriter. She decided she wanted to still be in finance but not deal with the front end, face-to-face interaction, so she found herself in accounts payable in the construction industry.
Amanda started with a small electrical subcontractor entering invoices and processing payroll. She then moved on to a nationwide commercial general contractor managing the accounting department, focusing mainly on AP, but she also had her hands in AR, payroll, and HR. Most recently, she strictly managed a large AP department for a nationwide plant and tree nursery.
