Michelle has over 20 years of accounting and operations experience with a strong focus on private equity. She began her career as an auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP in New York in the financial services sector. As her career progressed, she began to focus on funds, working for fund administrators in both New York and the Cayman Islands. Michelle has held both assistant controller and controller rolls at venture capital and private equity firms.
Recently, Michelle spent over six years serving as the Controller of BelHealth Investment Partners, LLC, a private equity firm concentrating on the healthcare industry. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the management company, for the human resource functions and for maintaining the financial records of two private equity funds and two general partners.
Michelle graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She continued her studies at Rutgers University Graduate School of Management and obtained an MBA in Accounting. Michelle is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
