Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Kranz
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Nothing matters more to us than the well-being of our employees, their overall experience, and trust in our organization that we are truly here for them.
We empower DEI. We invest in community. We advocate for change.
We value our diversity.
Our different experiences and perspectives are our strengths.
No two people, ideologies, or thoughts are the same. Our goal is simple – empower, invest, and advocate for the importance of a diverse workforce.
Kranz Consulting’s organization-wide DEI task force committee focuses on doing just that, ensuring an equitable workforce; every candidate, consultant, and employee is included, accepted, and welcomed.
Simply put, we are more than a company; we are people, trusted advisors, and leaders of change.
Our people are our most valued asset.
We believe in harnessing individual strengths to collectively reach our goals. At Kranz, we’re an ensemble of passionate and richly diverse people. Hear directly from our employees below on what it’s like to work at Kranz and how we unite different voices and passions to enable change.
At Kranz, the leadership team is very considerate, supportive and values my contributions. As a CFO in the VC practice, I feel blessed to work with a well talented and diversified team of professionals.
I joined Kranz Consulting 14 years ago for the opportunity to work with smart and dedicated people. There is never a dull moment and always opportunities to share, learn and grow.
At Kranz, diversity is foundational to our success. Our commitment to inclusivity and diverse perspectives underpins our ability to deliver innovative, agile and creative solutions for our clients.
Over 13 years, I have found Kranz to be responsive to the needs of employees. On a personal level, I have found great opportunity to expand my role using my unique capabilities. Kranz is always willing to accommodate professional growth and education.
One of my favorite things about Kranz is collaboration between teams. Our diverse group of employees have varied backgrounds, and we come together to share our knowledge and work towards shared goals. I’ve loved getting to be a part of Kranz’s growth over the years and am looking forward to our future.
It’s about community.
Our focus to create a diverse and inclusive environment is realized through several organization-wide initiatives.
DEI Taskforce
Our task force is split into three groups of passionate employees that meet several times per month to accomplish specific projects to improve our DEI initiatives at Kranz Consulting: hiring and recruiting, onboarding and education, and implementing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
Employee Resource Groups
We aim to provide safe and supportive groups for employees with shared experiences to foster their professional growth and contribute to personal development at work. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led and are intended to advocate for and represent different groups of individuals in our society.
Our ERGs involve a variety of events such as:
- Career Development & Mentorship
- Learning Sessions
- Fundraising & Community Outreach
- Volunteer Opportunities
- In-Person & Virtual Events
Supporting Our Communities
As part of our team, you’re able to use floater holidays for volunteering and supporting causes you care about in your local community. We also continue to add additional holidays to our annual floater holiday schedule, allowing more opportunities for our employees to celebrate cultural events that are important to them.
Recognized for Our Alliance
Our employee-led task force organizes events throughout the year to foster inclusion, build community and increase engagement with causes and organizations we feel are important.
In 2021 DLC, an Addison Group company, was awarded the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Exemplary Engagement Award for networking participation, mentorship and recruiting efforts of qualified MBA candidates. DLC’s consultants volunteer time as mentors to students in MBA programs affiliated with the NBMBAA and local high school students.
Life at Kranz.
